Domain registration FAQ

A domain is the address of your website and email, for example yourcompany.com. You register it for a chosen period and then renew it.

You can see the first-year price of popular extensions above, and prices of all extensions including renewal are in our price list. Extensions marked “sale” currently have a lower first-year price. Prices are shown excluding VAT.

We register the domain automatically right after the order is paid. With a card or online payment, registration is done very quickly; with a bank transfer, once the payment reaches our account.

Yes. Enter the domain you already own into the domain check and choose a transfer. For .cz domains the registrar change is free, you only need the authorization code from your current registrar.

You. We register the domain with you as the holder, and you can transfer it to another registrar at any time.

Before it expires, we send you a renewal request. If you do not pay, the domain enters a grace period under the registry rules (usually 30 days for .cz domains) and then becomes available for anyone to register.

No. You can keep a domain without hosting (parking), redirect it to another website or order email hosting only. You can add web hosting at any time later.

Short, easy to remember and without special characters. A name can contain letters, digits and a hyphen (not at the start or end) and have up to 63 characters. For a business, use the company name or the main word of your field, for example karels-carparts.com.
