The SPF Analyzer checks the SPF record of a domain and its individual mechanisms. It checks if the domain has exactly one valid SPF record and looks at mechanisms such as include, redirect, a, mx, ip4, ip6, exists or all. The check also monitors the number of DNS lookups, void lookups, and cycles in the include and redirect chain. This helps you find problems in the SPF configuration that could cause emails not to be delivered.
A RBL/blacklist tester checks if the IP addresses used to receive emails for a specific domain are on DNS blacklists (RBL/DNSBL). First, it looks for the MX records of the domain and gets the IP addresses of the mail servers from them. If the domain doesn't have an MX record or the IP address can't be found in the MX record, the A record of the domain is used as a backup. Then, the IPv4 addresses that were obtained are compared with the available RBL/DNSBL lists. The result will help you decide if the IP address of the mail server can be listed on one of the blacklists that are being used.
